CNC Milling Operator:

We are currently seeking a CNC Milling Operator for a vertical machining centre working single shift, 12 hrs.

Job Description:

 

• Duties will include the ability to read Engineering drawings and set tooling and datums, optimize existing programmes to produce required components.  
• You will be capable of using CNC machines with Fanuc Controls and others with ISO programming.
• An ability to create NC programmes may be an advantage. 

Candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience as a VMC Operator. He should be able to operate VMC machines, do job setting and inspection of jobs as per drawing.

Fanuc Controller Knowledge is required.

Knowledge of Programming is added advantage

Required CNC / VMC / Operator / Programmer:

• Requires 1-5 years CNC school training on CNC Equipment and/or 3-5 years CNC machining experience.
• Previous training on how to read machining measuring devices.
• Must have experience in reading and understanding geometric tolerancing.
• CNC machine programming is preferred.

Job Description Candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC VMC Operator. Programming and setting of CNC / VMC milling machines. Having experience in Milling & Turning of VMC, CNC Machines.
 
Key Skills:

•  Instrument should include but not limited to Callipers, ID & OD Micrometers, Depth Gauges, Indicators & Scales.
•  Intermediate knowledge of Tool Holders, Cutting Tools, Boring Bars, Fixtures, Inserts & other Accessories.
•  Able to Communicate CNC Programming & Manual Programming is a must.
•  Past experience with Fanuc Control is a must.
•  Read Drawings, Job Orders, Tooling Instructions or Standard Charts to determine specification

Responsibilities:

•  Supporting Operators in the Training of Loading Parts, Proving Programs, Operating Controls, Setting Offsets, Simple Edits, Deburring.
•  Inspection of Quality Parts for Conformance to Requirements.
•  Measures & Marks Dimensions & reference Points on Material / work Pieces as a guide for Subsequent Machining.
•  Detects Equipment Malfunction / Out of Tolerance Machining & Adjust Machine, within Capabilities, Controls/Control Media as required to insure Quality of Productions.
•  Reports All Machine Malfunctions to Operations Manager.
